    LVMWD relies on Reservoir during Metropolitan Shutdown

    Over the last few weeks, the main supply of water to LVMWD from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California was out of service for scheduled maintenance. Due to different treatment methods, some customers noticed a change in the taste and scent of the water during the shutdown. However, as of March 5 normal supplies have been restored and customers should notice a lower chlorine presence.
