State Senator Fran Pavley has recognized LVMWD with her monthly environmental Sustainability Award for helping to preserve four oak trees that were slated for removal during the Agoura Road widening project.

The trees were boxed, transported  and replanted at Las Virgenes Reservoir in Westlake Village, adding mature trees to the landscape surrounding the new 5-mllion gallon storage tank at that location.
