October 2024 Update

The Advanced Water Purification Facility for the Pure Water Project Las Virgenes-Triunfo will be located at 30800 Agoura Rd, Agoura Hills. This facility will purify recycled water to exceed drinking water standards.

As part of the design process, investigative work will begin in November, and residents should expect equipment and crews working on-site. Below is the schedule of upcoming activities:

November 5 & 6 - Best Management Practices (BMP) Installation
BMPs help control stormwater runoff and prevent pollutants from entering local waterbodies. Residents may notice equipment installing silt fences, inlet protection, and site stabilization measures.

November 7 through December 13 - Geotechnical Exploration
These investigations involve large and small equipment on-site to evaluate subsurface and surface conditions, essential for planning and design.

December 16 & 17 - Site Restoration
Once the geotechnical work is complete, crews will restore the site to its original condition.

January 2025 - Potholing
Potholing involves digging small holes with equipment to locate underground utilities, ensuring that future construction does not interfere with existing infrastructure.
